Can I Tow Dolly my 2004 all wheel drive Highlander

Is there a way to tow dolly a 2004 all wheel drive highlander?

Can the rear drive shaft be disconnected with a quick disconnect or by removal of the drive shaft and then tow on a dolly?

If the drive shaft is removed, can the Highlander be driven using the front wheels only and not damage the transfer case or transmission?

Cliff,
Your question is way out of my league, I'm afraid. I believe there is a way to disconnect the drive shaft, but have no idea how complicated that might be. You really need to talk with the service people at Toyota and see what they say.
Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck with getting some useful answers.
Susan

Susan, thanks for your response. I'll check with my local Toyota dealer.

If anyone has any information to forward, I would love to hear. Thanks Cliff
