Thanks for your question, Lee - I'm sure it's one a lot of people ask. The absolute safest answer I can give you is to check with your owner's manual and/or the dealer. It seems like the answer should be "yes", but I've learned to take nothing for granted.

Front wheel tow dolly towing
by: Roger

I have a Hyunda Elantra (2013) that I towed for 8000 miles this past spring and summer through the South, up the west coast to Seattle and back to Tennessee. I had no trouble towing the vehicle.

Thanks for asking.

I don't think all front wheel drive cars with automatic transmission can be put on a front only tow. It's not practical at-all. I would like to suggest that you visit a reputable automobile servicing center and try to gather some info on it. They are the best buddies with vehicles and they must have ideas about it. hybrid towing
by: Judy Pittman

We own a hybrid, Prius, and I don't think we can safely tow it except on a trailer. The generators in the wheels to charge battery is a problem with hybrids. It's worth getting a trailer, though. Love my Prius!
